Jimny 5 Doors & APIO Pedals

Dear All.

I purchased a set of APIO pedals for my Jimny 5 doors, Automatic, Left Hand.

My vehicle was assembled in India, and is currently located in Venezuela.

I have the following observations:

BRAKE PEDAL

According to your instructions, I was able to remove the original rubber that came with the pedal.

The APIO brake pedal came without the respective hollow punches for the screw countersunk heads, therefore the screws were not tangent to the surface of the pedal…Or perhaps you defaulted to not sending the correct flat head screws ?

See photos.

ACCELERATOR PEDAL

Maybe the accelerator of this 5-door Jimny must be different from the 2-door ones, since the pedal does not have rubber, and it is a completely plastic structure.

As you will see in the attached photos, the pedal does not have rubber; On the left side it has “alveolis”, and on the right side it is solid.

In order to fix the APIO pedal on the right side to the original pedal, I had to bend one of the “C” shaped pieces at its tips,( the smaller one ), and on the left side I inserted the other “C” shaped piece into the “alveolis”

At the end of the day I was able to solve it in an unorthodox way, but I had no other solution.

Best,

Nadim Dao
