By using pillow balls at the rod ends, friction is reduced and axle blurring during driving is also reduced. This realizes sharp and direct steering control. It also enables smooth suspension travel, improving stability for regular city driving, high performance for off-road driving, and operability for on-road driving.
If regular pillow balls are used for vehicles, durability is often inferior. However, this product uses pillow balls made by MINEBEA in Japan. MINEBEA has the world's largest shares of 65% each in ball bearings and pivot assemblies, and their products are reliable and proven. This product uses even high load-bearing performance pillow balls among the high-quality MINEBEA products. It is an Oil-free, low-maintenance, rust-resistant, long-life, high-quality stainless steel product. Also, it is less likely to be scratched because it comes with protective boots. All made in Japan.

* Even though it is a durable and long-life product, replacement parts (pillow ball rod ends, protective boots, and stainless rods) are also available.
* Please note that the Front Rod fits only RHD (right-hand drive) Jimny. Actually, several of our LHD (left-hand drive) customers have already installed the Front Rods, but this has not been tested by our shop or manufacturer. If this Front Rod is installed on LHD, it may touch the differential. Rear Rod fits both RHD and LHD Jimny.
