This product is an incredibly light Carbon FRP Hood (bonnet)! It weighs only 4.8kg. The weight is about 9.2kg lighter compared to the approximate 14.0kg of the SUZUKI original one. The size and shape are the same as the SUZUKI original. Made in Japan.
Two types are available: Carbon type for 79,100 JPY (1-layer carbon fiber + 1-layer glass fiber-reinforced plastics), and FRP type for 56,900 JPY (2-layer glass fiber-reinforced plastics). The weight is the same.
Optional stainless steel hinge (5,200 JPY) and hood pin kit (5,200 JPY) are required for installation. For some vehicles, adding the mounting stays may be required to install the hood pin kit.
