Due to a change in US government policy, the tax system for mail, including items imported for personal use, was changed as of August 29, 2025.
This change in the US customs system is causing significant delays in customs clearance processing at US Customs.
As a result, EMS has suspended the acceptance of shipments to the US last month.
Shipping was previously also possible via UPS, DHL, and FedEx.
However, currently customs clearance processing at US Customs is taking a significant amount of time, resulting in significant delays at UPS facilities.
Therefore, today UPS also requested that acceptance be suspended.
For this reason, starting Monday, September 22, 2025, UPS will suspend shipments to the US for the time being.
It's still possible to ship to the United States by DHL or FedEx.
However, please note the following:
1. There are significant delays in customs clearance processing at US Customs. Delivery schedules are currently unpredictable.
2. Depending on the size, weight, and destination, EMS or UPS were cheaper than DHL or FedEx in some cases. When shipping these items to the US via DHL or FedEx, additional shipping charges often apply.
3. Please note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility, as our policy shows. Tariffs must be paid by the importer (purchaser), but not the exporter (seller).
4. US government policies, customs procedures, shipping conditions, and international situations change frequently. Please note that our shop cannot keep track of all changes in real time.
5. Due to the enormous amount of time and effort required for the complex customs clearance procedures in the US, we have heard that some shipping companies, including DHL, are considering raising shipping fees to the US. There is a possibility that shipping fees to the US will increase overall in the near future.
We are sorry for the inconvenience to our US customers and thank you for your understanding.
