With the mirrors attached to the doors, you have to turn your head to the left and move your gaze a lot to check the mirrors. However, with a fender-mounted mirror, you can check the mirror just by looking slightly to the left, allowing you to quickly check the situation. In addition, they give your Jimny a classic appearance.
Also, the left mirror comes with a side-under mirror. Even though Jimny is a small car, forward visibility is a bit of a problem due to its angular body shape and high vehicle height. What's more, forward visibility is even worse in a lifted Jimny, especially in front of the side opposite the driver's side. This is often a problem not only when driving off-road, but also when driving in urban areas, creating the risk of accidents such as collisions with small children or obstacles.
