Great products for off-road driving with a lifted Jimny. In contrast to the original SUZUKI radius arms made of cast iron, this product is made of 42.7mm diameter and 5mm-thick carbon steel seamless pipes for machine structure (STKM13A). Also, 22mm thick steel material is used on the axle side. They have enough strength for off-road driving.
The lifted Jimny loses steering stability due to the change in caster angle, and the shortened wheelbase makes it easier for the tires to touch the body. However, these products correct the caster angle by about 2.3 degrees (for the 1" lifted Jimny), about 5.2 degrees (for the 2" lifted Jimny), or about 7.9 degrees (for the 3" lifted Jimny), providing the perfect caster angle for lifted Jimny.
Also, the lengths are longer than the original SUZUKI ones, 6mm longer for the 2-inch lifted Jimny and 10mm longer for the 3-inch lifted Jimny. The lengths of the arms for a 1-inch lifted one are the same as the original SUZUKI ones. Longer arms provide optimum wheelbase length for lifted Jimny. They are also very effective if you install larger tires or wheel spacers on your lifted Jimny. However, the longer types also have some disadvantages such as axle position misalignment, when the suspension is compressed. So, the suspension may touch the bumps stops or brake hoses during off-road driving. Also, a propeller shaft spacer may be required if you install more than 10mm longer type on more than a 4-inch lifted Jimny. The length of the radius arm must be carefully determined if using longer radius arms, especially when you are driving off-road.
Genuine SUZUKI rubber bushes, which are softer than aftermarket caster correction bushes, have been installed on these arms. They have great flexibility, so off-road suspension action movement is better than using caster correction bushes.

However, due to the pipe shape of these products, they may suddenly break without bending. Even though these products are more durable than the original SUZUKI radius arms, please avoid dangerous off-road driving and do not neglect daily inspections.
* For your reference, in heavy off-road driving, the rear trailing arms are prone to damage on uphill slopes, and the front radius arms are prone to damage when hitting obstacles from the front. Especially, we have had some reports of the rear trailing arm of the JB74 (2018-present) failure on uphill climbs on hard off-road driving.
