The attachment parts are designed to fit by making contact with the whole surface, not just the parts. Also, the upper attachment is bent to fit the rear gate three-dimensionally. These allow this ladder to perfectly fit to the rear gate and prevent problems such as the mounting part making dents in the rear gate. In addition, they allow this product to be securely attached and make it designed to withstand heavy-duty use. The gap between the ladder and the rear gate is also enough that you can step smoothly without the boots touching the rear gate. The lower steps are designed with square pipes that are easy to step on with your feet, and the upper grip is designed with round pipes that are easy to grip with your hands. The edges of the sheet metal are bent using a process called hemming to ensure strength, and it is also a safe design that won't hurt your fingers. It comes preassembled in one piece, so assembly isn't required. Made in Japan.
The product width is 200mm and it is possible to fit spare tires up to about 727mm in outside diameter. When an aftermarket spare tire relocation bracket is not installed and the spare tire is in the original position, some spare tires that are slightly larger than the original ones such as the ones below can also be installed together. Please note the tire sizes may vary by manufacturer and type. Some of the following tires may not be compatible.
