They spend a lot of time testing these products with leading test drivers and these products are manufactured with top automobile makers. It is a high-performance suspension that has improved on-road and off-road driving performance, drive quality and comfort more than the SUZUKI original ones. Also, whether the stabilizer is installed or removed, the settings are designed to provide stable, high-performance driving both on and off-road.

These leaf springs are designed for RHD (right-hand drive), but it is possible to install for LHD (left-hand drive) as well. Actually, several of our LHD customers have already installed these products without any issues. If there is a difference in height between the left and right, please consider using the included leaf spacers. However, this has only ever been tested on one model of LHD Jimny and may not work on all models. This product is designed so that the right side (driver's seat side) of RHD is slightly higher when no one is on board.

1993 Jimny RHD - 2" Lift - Incorrect parts and missing a few hardware

I was informed by the mechanic a lot of the hardware and parts are incorrect. The 2 rear shocks are 2-inches too short and the leaf spring bracket drill holes are the incorrect size. He had to reuse some of the old hardware to get the new suspension to fit. The leaf springs and front shocks went on great and it definitely rides better, but i think it would have been better if it had the proper rear shocks with the proper hardware including the leaf spring bracket. I'm a bit bummed having to spend $3,000 for the parts, shipping, and labor, only to find out that it was incorrect. Waiting to hear back from the seller to resolve this issue.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We've replied to you a couple of times via email past couple of weeks, but we have not received any replies. Therefore, we hope you’ve already fixed the issues, but we would like to reply to you with the same things here as well.

Our shop and the manufacturer believe we shipped the correct parts. Could you please tell us which hardware and parts were incorrect and why? We would appreciate your cooperation as we work to identify the cause and take appropriate action.

Our shop has sold this suspension kit about 20 times. There has never been a problem until now. Also, the manufacturer has sold almost 1,000 kits over the past 35 years. They said they have never had any issues with the hardware and parts being incorrect or the rear shock absorbers being 2 inches too short. However, after speaking with the manufacturer's sales manager and chief mechanic, we learned that they had received inquiries in the past due to the following customer mistakes:

1, Are you sure your Jimny is JA11? Could you please let us know your Jimny type? If it is unknown, please let us know the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). We received an order for a suspension kit for the JA11, so we shipped the products for the JA11. If your Jimny is not a JA11, the hole size may be different, and some hardware and parts will not fit. Is it possible that you specified the wrong model when ordering?

2, Are the hardware and parts you mention attached to original Suzuki products, or are they aftermarket products? It appears that some of the suspension parts on your Jimny in the photo are not original Suzuki products. If aftermarket products are installed, the hardware and parts we sent you may not be compatible.

We are sorry, but data regarding the compatibility of products made by different suppliers is not available. For example, we have not tested the combination of mounting hardware from Company A and suspension kit from Company B, so we do not guarantee the compatibility of combinations.

3, Were you able to install rear leaf springs? And were you able to install rear sock absorbers? If you were able to install both, after installing them, did you feel that the shock absorbers were 2 inches short while driving? Under what driving conditions did you feel that way? Also, could you let us know why you feel so? If it was possible to install the rear springs but not possible to install the rear shock absorbers, after installing the leaf springs, did you try installing the shock absorbers when the springs were fully extended?

We guess it is highly unlikely that only these two shock absorbers were manufactured two inches shorter during the manufacturing process. In many suspensions, especially those that have separate springs and shock absorbers rather than strut suspension, the extended length of the shock absorbers is usually shorter than the maximum length of the springs. After installing the springs, you cannot install the shock absorbers when the springs are fully extended. You will need to compress the springs slightly before installing the shock absorbers.

4, Excuse us for asking this question, but is your mechanic a professional with experience in modifying Jimnys, older vehicles, and SUVs suspensions? Unlike other general cars, the Jimny has a suspension called rigid axles (beam axles) and a body structure called a ladder frame. Jimny does not have the independent suspension or monocoque body structure which are used in general vehicles. Also, older Jimnys like the JA11 use leaf springs instead of the coil springs that are common today. Even if your mechanic has no experience modifying a Jimny, if they are professional with experience servicing leaf springs or older, full-fledged SUVs, this product should be able to be installed without any problems. If your mechanic does not have much experience modifying vehicles such as the Jimny, we recommend that you ask an experienced professional for help.

If your mechanic is an experienced professional, we apologize for asking the above questions. The manufacturer's manager told us that previously, an inexperienced customer had contacted the manufacturer claiming that he had tried to install shock absorbers when the springs were fully extended, but the shock absorbers were too short to install.

FYI, the red shock absorbers in your photos are most likely aftermarket products. It's also possible that the original SUZUKI shock absorbers were painted red by the previous owner.

Once again, we are very sorry for the difficulties you have incurred. However, our shop and the manufacturer are confident that we are sending you the correct products and that they can be installed without any problems. Suspension is a critical component that affects safety. Installation often requires specialized skills and tools. In addition to general automotive certification, enough experience and knowledge related to modifying Jimnys or other full-scale 4x4 vehicles may also be required. Be sure to have the installation carried out properly by an experienced professional, and be sure to perform daily inspections.

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have, so please don't hesitate to contact us. However, please note that we will accept no responsibility for parts incorrectly installed. Thank you for your understanding.
