This product inherits the floating valve structure that was popular in the previous model, while improving the more sophisticated design, maintainability, and reliability. By adopting a floating valve structure in which the diaphragm and valve operate independently, it is possible to achieve a valve response that exceeds that of the conventional model and a stable blow-off effect in the entire supercharging range. The floating valve mechanism prevents unnecessary opening and closing of the valve, and quick response even at low supercharging. It allows the valve to react quickly because there is no need to apply unnecessary preload to the spring. It also prevents idling problems that tend to occur with blow-off. A hand spinner that enables the preload adjustment of the spring without tools is adopted.
- Stainless Steel Pipe Kit -
Compared to the original rubber pipe, this stainless steel pipe prevents loss due to expansion and improves boost response. Aluminum has a higher thermal conductivity than stainless steel, and aluminum pipe is more effective at dissipating heat than stainless steel pipe. So, the aluminum intake pipe is superior over stainless steel in terms of lowering the intake air temperature. However, the material thickness of this stainless steel pipe is thinner than other aluminum products because stainless steel has better strength than aluminum. As a result, this product has a cooling effect equivalent to that of aluminum but has better durability than aluminum products. Another advantage for this pipe is that the engine bay will look fashionable because this product is made of durable stainless steel #400, polished finished.
