This 10mm Propeller Shaft Spacer is usually the right size when the rear of the Jimny has been lifted more than 3 inches (75mm) or when using aftermarket front radius arms. The uneven design in the center prevents shifting and ensures a perfect fit. High tensile bolts are included. Made in Japan.
We advise extending the propeller shaft, especially for the rear of JB43 type 4 - 9 (2004-2018), in the following cases because the propeller shaft joint may come off.
- Lifted more than 75mm.
- The rear shock absorber extended length is 540mm or more.
- Rear trailing arms or front radius arms were replaced with aftermarket products.
- The rear trailing arm uses castor correction bushes.
- When driving hard off-road.
- When the accelerator is turned off and there is a sound from the shaft.
Note 1: The TANIGUCHI Rear Shock Absorbers have an extended length of 525 mm. If the rear trailing arms are original or the suspension is TANIGUCHI, then a propeller shaft spacer is not required. However, you might consider using this product if there is any discomfort as it creates a smoother ride.
Note 2: This product is easy to install, but the propeller shaft extension of a lifted vehicle must be carefully sized. If it is too short or too long, it can damage the transfer or differential. The thickness of the propeller shaft spacers must be carefully determined if using propeller shaft spacers of 10 mm or more, especially when you are driving off-road.
