These products are front Cross Member Drop Brackets that can be installed on a lifted Jimny. By dropping the cross member at an angle, these products are also effective for off-road driving.

The original Suzuki cross member touches the propeller shaft when the Jimny is lifted. If you use simple aftermarket drop brackets that just drop the cross member to solve this problem, the ground clearance is reduced by 50-70mm, which isn't favorable for off-road driving. However, these products drop the cross member at an angle, and as a result, it will be compatible with front shock absorbers with a maximum length of 520mm or less while minimizing the reduction in ground clearance. Depending on the maximum length of the front shock absorbers, it is also suitable for some 5-inch lifted Jimny. FYI, 4-inch (100mm) lifted Jimny usually has front shock absorbers with a maximum length of 520mm or less.

One more option to solve this clearance problem is to remove the original cross member. However, it reduces the rigidity of the car body and slightly deteriorates off-road driving performance. In addition, it does not pass the strict car inspection in Japan because it reduces safety in the event of an accident. It is possible to drive your Jimny without this cross member, but we recommend this product for your off-road driving performance and especially for your safety

The amount of ground clearance reduced is less than simple aftermarket drop brackets; however, TANIGUCHI and PLOT products are better than this product. TANIGUCHI Drop Cross Member (MT/AT), or PLOT Cross Member (MT) are also recommended if you need a product with little or no reduction in ground clearance.

Difficile il montaggio le piccole imperfezioni degli attacchi sulle traverse del jimny rendono quasi impossibile istallarle senza eccessive e dannose forzature, i cilindretti desinati a contenere le viti andrebbero ridotti di 1mm per agevolare il montaggio; le piastre esternamente troppo vicine ai puntoni (circa un Cm di spazio tra puntone e piastre) andrebbero sagomate meglio (cosa che farò fare a un bravo fabbro prima di installarle) peccato il manufatto e ben fatto ma non ancora perfetto, saluti Domenico
